United Way of Knox County invests donor dollars in programs and services of partner agencies that serve area residents.

These partners provide mentors for youth, socialization for older adults, homelessness prevention programming, and more. Annually, local volunteers review program investment packets from partner agencies, conduct interviews, hold site visits and then make recommendations to United Way’s Board of Trustees for financial investment in agencies as a result of the annual campaign. These monies come from employee workplace campaigns, corporate giving, and gifts from generous individuals.
