Eagles Nest After School Program

Students at East Elementary School are enjoying after school enrichment activities and home work assistance during the 2017-2018 school year thanks to a pilot project sponsored by United Way.  The Eagles Nest is the program began in September and curently reports an average of 36 "eagles" in the nest each school day.  Thanks to Marilyn Nagy and a host of volunteers for executing this much-needed and much loved program.   This program gives students an academic boost in addition to fun activities like crafts and cooking and exercises through Zuma and Yoga.
