When you join other community members in investing in United Way, your donation improves local lives and our entire community.  Our priority Health community issue is creating a healthy community.  Thanks to the work of 20 local volunteers, the following Health Programs were selected to receive an overall investment of $395,865 from the $1,000,000 campaign for 2018:

  • Knox Out Tobacco Program    $21,800
  • Oral Hygiene Preschool Education Program $8,286
  • Newborn Home Visiting Program   $19,545
  • FACES (Falls,Assessment, Community, EMS/Fire, Safety)   $10,000

Visting Nurse Association of Mid-Ohio

  • In Home Care  $7,000

YMCA of Mount Vernon

  • Community Wellness Program $50,000
