As the unusually warm temperatures for November are making thermometers climb, the United Way of Knox County’s 2016 campaign thermometer is also on the rise. Currently the campaign stands at $768,157 or 76% of the $1,000,000 goal.
“Our community's investment in United Way means that our community will continue to work towards providing the optimal environment in which every Knox County resident and family can be become healthy in mind, body and spirit" states Julie Miller, United Way Campaign Chair. Miller also states, "I am so very thankful for our community's generosity towards United Way and feel blessed to live in such a dynamic, collaborative and compassionate community."
The United Way’s 2016 campaign will be investing in 28 programs through 17 partner agencies to benefit the education, health and financial stability of Knox County residents.
