In May, 1,105 Knox County children will receive free books through Imagination Library!

CLICK HERE to download your child's registration form!

In partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Foundation, children in our area can receive a FREE book delivered to their home every month as part of this new early reading program. Children must live in Knox County in order to participate. Once a child turns five, they will receive their final book and graduate from the Imagination Library program. This county-wide early learning effort is a strategy that prepares children for school and promotes quality interactions between children and their parents and caregivers. Our Mission

United Way of Knox County will unite key community representatives to understand needs, secure resources, and strategically invest those resources to measurably impact the quality of peoples’ lives.

2-1-1...Get Connected!
What is 2-1-1? Like 9-1-1 it is an easy-to-remember number for people in need. A call to 2-1-1 connects people with needed services in the community as well as information about those services. 2-1-1 provides access to necessary agencies for those who are not sure how to find the help they need. It provides confidential 24/7 access to social services information while saving 9-1-1 for emergencies.
