The Career Navigator Program supported Knox County residents in building pathways to employment by providing individualized career guidance, job readiness support, and connections to workforce resources. Participants received assistance with career exploration, training opportunities, and overcoming barriers to employment, helping individuals move toward long-term financial stability.

Science Play-Space Initiative (SPI), Inc.

The Discovery Play program at SPI Spot provided families with a safe, engaging space for play-based learning and family connection. In 2025, 1,384 unduplicated families visited the space, resulting in 2,605 family visits and 8,949 individual participation experiences. Through hands-on exhibits and interactive activities, children built curiosity and developmental skills while families strengthened time together in an accessible, welcoming environment.

Knox Health Planning Partnership

The Senior Health and Wellness program served 127 unduplicated seniors by providing home visits, health education classes, transportation support, and preventive health services. Through initiatives such as blood pressure clinics, Bingocize classes, and medication support, seniors experienced improved health outcomes and increased independence, exceeding original participation goals.

New Directions Domestic Abuse Shelter of Knox County

The Advocacy & Support for Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence & Sexual Violence program supported survivors by providing crisis response, shelter, advocacy, and connections to essential resources. In 2025, the program delivered 2,832 shelter nights, responded to 1,266 crisis calls, and completed 226 community resource referrals, ensuring survivors received immediate safety support and ongoing advocacy as they worked toward stability and independence.
